Lumbar stenosis

Condition leading to the reduction of the diameter of the canal in which nerves run within the spinal cord.

More common in elder age, generally bring problems to lower limbs that get worse with walking (claudicatio spinalis).

If still possible, after the specialist’s evaluation, we shall try to solve the problems using preserving treatments such as infiltrations (eperidural), but in some cases a surgical operation may be recommended in order to restore the correct room for the nerves and therefore relieve the symptoms.
