Vertebral fractures

When a vertebra fractures it may depend on how serious the injury is, but also on weak bones, as it occurs with osteoporosis.

Depending on the condition we may proceed with preserving treatments, while in other conditions we may need a surgical procedure as inserting cement filling in the vertebra (percutaneous vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty), or we might need to fix the vertebra (using  screws and bars) in more complex cases.

Surgical procedures have the benefit of the most modern technological devices of Neuronavigation  and mini-invasive techniques.
